Why do agencies look for a Spott alternative?
Spott is an AI-native ATS and CRM, in the same category as Kepler. The reasons agencies compare alternatives are on Spott’s own pages.
- The full feature set starts on the second tier. Spott Core is USD 139 per user per month billed annually and Pro is USD 199. Automations, Multi-Channel Sequences, the Marketing Suite and Data Enrichment start at Pro (spott.io/pricing, 13 Sep 2026).
- Enrichment is paid on top. AI token spend is included in every Spott plan, but enrichment credits for contact data cost extra.
- Ask AI works one record at a time. Spott does not have an AI chat that works across records inside the app. Its documentation sends those questions to ChatGPT or Claude through its MCP server.
- Career pages sit on Spott’s domain. Branded career pages are hosted under app.spott.io/careers/.

How we evaluated these alternatives
Every claim about another vendor comes from that vendor’s own pricing page, documentation or product pages, read on the date in the sources. The price shown is the plan that carries the vendor’s AI, never the cheapest tier. Kepler publishes this post.
1. Kepler
What it is
Kepler is a recruitment CRM built around AI Chat and a searchable database. You ask AI Chat a question in plain English, and it searches CVs, notes, email threads and call transcripts, ranks the people it finds, and creates or updates records once a person approves.
Kepler scores every candidate from 0 to 100 against the job. The score is based on criteria taken from the job description, which you can edit, and each criterion shows the line from the CV, call or email behind it. Emails, calls and WhatsApp messages become proposed updates you approve, with history and undo on every field.
Around AI Chat, Kepler includes:
- pipelines, email and calendar sync, and a notetaker for Teams, Zoom and Google Meet
- email and WhatsApp conversations in one inbox
- LinkedIn search that shows whether a person is already in your database and what has changed, and adds them if not
- CV parsing and formatting, and a careers site on your own domain
- email campaigns, automations, a client portal and consent records
- a public API and an MCP server for outside AI tools
Contact enrichment for emails, mobile numbers and LinkedIn URLs is available. Single sign-on is available on the Enterprise plan.
Pricing
USD 99 per user per month billed annually, or USD 129 monthly. Every feature is on that single plan, with unlimited records and a monthly AI allowance with more on request. AI Chat is included on every plan, monthly and annual, with no add-on or upgrade needed. There is no exit fee. See Kepler pricing and the feature pages.
Migration
Kepler migrates your data for you, free, on every plan. You review fifty of your own records before the full load, and custom fields, activity, stages and history come across.

How do you choose a Spott alternative?
Ask each vendor the same questions and compare the answers. Here is how Kepler answers them.
- Is the AI in the plan you are pricing? Kepler has a single plan at USD 99 per user per month billed annually, and every AI feature is in it.
- What is paid on top of the seat? Nothing for AI Chat. Kepler includes a monthly AI allowance in the seat, with more capacity on request, and unlimited records and storage.
- Can you ask the AI about your whole database? Kepler’s AI Chat reads CVs, notes, emails and call transcripts across the workspace, and updates records after a person approves.
- Can you see why a candidate scored what they did? Kepler scores every candidate from 0 to 100, and each criterion shows the line from the CV, call or email behind it.
- Who does the migration, and what does it cost? Kepler does it for you, free, on every plan.
Where Kepler fits. Kepler is built for agencies that want a simple CRM with the AI included: you ask AI Chat instead of searching by hand, at one published price, with the migration done for you.
