# AI suggestions

> Lightweight AI prompts — suggested updates and tasks — and how to review them singly or in bulk.

_Collection: AI & Automation (ai-automation) — Kepler Help Center. Canonical: https://keplercrm.com/support/articles/ai-suggestions/_

Kepler surfaces **AI suggestions** in [Notifications](/support/articles/notifications/) — ideas extracted from your conversations and records that you can confirm or dismiss in a click.

## Kinds of suggestions

  - **Suggested updates** — field values the AI believes are missing or stale, each showing the source it was inferred from and the records involved. Suggestions can target centrally supported built-in fields and custom columns configured to read from source content.

  - **Suggested tasks** — commitments detected in meetings and calls, with proposed assignee and due date (see [Managing tasks](/support/articles/managing-tasks/)). To have new emails read for tasks as well, turn on **Emails** in the details of **AI suggested tasks** on **Settings → Automations**; it is off by default.

## Reviewing

Suggestions appear in the Notifications queues and in context on the relevant pages. For each one you'll see the source, the record(s), and the proposed value or action — **confirm** to apply, **reject** to dismiss.

**Bulk review:** when many suggestions accumulate (say, after connecting a mailbox with years of history), use **Accept all** or **Reject all** for the current Inbox filter, or from a group's menu. **Accept all** counts only the suggestions it can safely apply — a suggestion that conflicts with an existing value is excluded and still needs your decision. Suggested tasks can also be reviewed — and edited before acceptance — directly in the **Tasks** page.

## The rule

Suggested updates can fill missing values or change stale values. A suggestion waiting in your Inbox changes nothing until you accept it, and a change to a value that is already on a record always waits for you. Some changes are applied without a review step:

  - **Fields set to Fill blanks.** AI fills an empty cell on its own, with Undo. This is the **Default rule** on **Settings → AI** unless you change it; set a field to **Always ask** on **Settings → AI → Fields** to review every value first.

  - **Assistant actions set to Just do it** under **Changes the assistant makes** on **Settings → AI**.

  - **Update from LinkedIn** on a candidate or contact with a confirmed LinkedIn profile. Changes to roles, title, employer or location are applied straight away, with **Undo** and **Compare** on the confirmation. Each check spends 1 enrichment credit, only when something changed. **Update from LinkedIn profiles automatically** on **Settings → Enrichment** runs these checks on a schedule; it is off by default.

  - **Automatic campaign replies.** A campaign set to **Reply automatically, then hand off** can answer a recipient without review, but only if **Automatic replies** is on in **Settings → Campaigns**. It is off by default.

A campaign reply is read like any other email: field values in it become suggestions under the same rules.
